I BELIEVE in the birth of Jesus Christ, our Savior and that we have been forgiven for our sins. I also BELIEVE in the spirit of Christmas, one involving feelings of goodwill, benevolence, and a willingness to enjoy ourselves. It's such a selfless time and it feels so good. Not just personally, but to watch others do for others.
Though, it is still so hard for me to believe that 9 years ago, Hill Country Community Ministries fed 13,767 individuals. And this past year, HCCM will provide food to OVER 140,000 individuals.... That is OVER 100,000 more people in less than 10 years.
I say this MANY times, Hill Country Community Ministries only GETS to do what we do because of our generous, thoughtful, loving community. I BELIEVE in the people who volunteer their time. I BELIEVE in the people who donate their dollars, donate food, donate coats, blankets, shoes, and so much more to GIVE to those who are struggling and have come up on hard times. It's A LOT that we do, and we GET to because we BELIEVE in the Spirit!
HCCM will provide food and essentials to OVER 140,000 people this year. Please continue to HELP us HELP them. Thank you for all that you do! We hope that you and your family take this time over the next couple of weeks to CELEBRATE the true meaning of Christmas.
