We are thrilled to share the success of our 2nd Annual Sunshine Awards! Despite a bit of rain, we celebrated some truly remarkable people in our community. The event was a heartwarming testament to the incredible spirit of service that defines our area.
This year, we received over 50 nominations and honored 11 outstanding individuals. We're so proud of each winner and nominee. These Sunshine Awards recognize those special people who, even when facing their own challenges, continue to serve our community in big ways. They're the ones who bring joy and spread sunshine no matter what's going on in their personal lives.
We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who participated in our Sunshine Awards this year. To those who took the time to nominate someone, we're deeply grateful. It meant so much to us to be able to recognize these winners who bring light and positivity to those around them.

The night was full of surprises, including a visit from the Grinch! He helped us kick off our upcoming "Mean on the Green" golf tournament, scheduled for December 2nd. We also gave away four tickets to our Mardi Gras Bash on March 1st – so mark your calendars!
We're already looking forward to next year's Sunshine Awards. Start thinking about who you might nominate! These awards are our way of recognizing the everyday heroes who make our community brighter.
As we reflect on the evening's success, we're reminded of how blessed we are to be part of such a caring and compassionate community. Thank you all for your continued support of HCCM and for helping us spread a little more sunshine every day.
