Summer at the food pantry and thrift store is BUSY! Our dedicated volunteers also have plans for the summer season. We love it when they can get away for a vacation and visit family. However, it can be challenging when we become short-staffed. So, we need your help!
Are you retired and looking for something to do once a week for a couple of hours a day? Are you seeking to get connected and make new friends while serving your community? Are you a student needing upcoming community service hours for the National Honor Society, PALS, or Young Men's Service League? We are your place!
There are EIGHT different ways you can serve here at Hill Country Community Ministries - from administration, deliveries, food pick-ups, case managers/relationship builders, to our thrift store, and more. We are open 6 days a week with various times and shifts available, depending on the location you choose.
Last year, HCCM served over 136,000 individuals through our programs, and we are already seeing a 10% increase year-to-date. That's A LOT of people we help in our community! And we GET TO because of our generous volunteers.
