More Than a Food Pantry

HCCM is here for you

Did you know, we are more than just a food pantry? We serve about 4500 families, about 13,600 individuals a month. We offer Thrift Store voucher cards, vision vouchers, incontinence supplies, diapers, hygiene products, and pet food when you become a full-service client. We provide nutritious meals to clients during the holidays as well. We do case management, where we provide extra help with other resources such as finding a job, filling out a SNAP application,
referrals to other community resources, finding a health clinic, & more.

4 Ways to Get Help from our Pantry
First- Curbside order will receive a pre-box filled with dry goods such as spaghetti sauce, pasta, beans, and peanut butter every month.

Second- Full Service, clients will receive additional food items such as dairy, meats, pastries, bread, produce, and holiday meals. In addition, clients may receive hygiene, feminine products, diapers, and incontinence supplies. Full-service clients can receive clothing vouchers to our thrift store every 3 months. Vision vouchers may be available if the client has been a full-service member with us for 6 months. On occasion, we have organizations that sponsor families during
the holidays to give Christmas or Easter baskets. We also provide in-depth help with filling out SNAP, Medicare, other government benefits or job search.

Third- Fresh Food for All (FFFA)- Anyone is welcome at the FFFA locations. It is available at 10 distribution sites during the month. FFFA provides fresh fruits and vegetables for making nutritious meals. See our website for more information: Fresh Food For All mobile food distribution (hccm.org)

Fourth- Community Cupboard- Anyone is welcome to our community cupboard once a day from Monday to Friday 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 3pm, with extended hours on Thursdays until 7pm. Our Community Cupboard has a great deal of fresh fruits, vegetables, pastries, breads, ready to go meals, and much more.

What can you do to help?
We accept monetary donations, food items, and hygiene products. At the thrift store, we accept gently used clothing, linens & bedding, household items, small appliances and more. Have time on your hands? Bored at home? Want to have fun and make new friends? We always need volunteers at our thrift shop and food pantry.
