HCCM partners with AGE of Central Texas to supply medical equipment for our clients and the public. Equipment, such as walkers, canes, wheelchairs, shower chairs, crutches and toilet chairs are made available on request and free of charge. AGE will sanitize and inspect every item to make sure everything is in pristine condition.
Over 25% of HCCM clients are seniors, plus another 10% or more are disabled. Additionally, many people need medical equipment for recovery purposes or on a temporary basis. Essential mobility aids like walkers, canes, and wheelchairs can be prohibitively expensive, making life much more challenging. These aids are essential for individuals to move safely and independently within their homes and HCCM makes them available free of charge.
Our partnership with AGE of Texas represents a program that greatly benefits our community. Through this partnership, we aim to ensure basic medical equipment for low-income individuals. By doing so, we empower individuals within our community to live with dignity, self-sufficiency, and an improved quality
of life, promoting inclusivity and equal opportunities for all. This program embodies our mission of ‘improving the health and well-being of our neighbors.’
