Many years ago, I belonged to a networking group that recognized someone once a month for DOING and BEING GOOD! They called it the Sunshine Award. And I loved it!!! We know life can be hard at times. EVERYONE has a story. And everyone goes through something in their lives that can challenge a person spiritually, mentally, and physically. The Sunshine Award is given to someone who may be going through something in life, may have some challenges in their personal life, yet they STILL SHINE and brings SUNSHINE to those around them. Hill Country Community Ministries has been recognizing people within our organization the past 7 1/2 years as our Sunshine Award winners. Who do you know within your company that is DOING GOOD in our community, who is a SUNSHINE?? We want to recognize them at an upcoming event this summer.
