What kind of person doesn’t like pizza?? A weir – dough!
October is celebrated as National Pizza Month, a delicious occasion to honor one of the most beloved comfort foods worldwide.
And do we have pizza for you!! HCCM partners with Papa John’s Pizza through the Harvest donation program. If a pizza order is wrong or never picked up, they pass these items on to us to help feed our neighbors. We pick up pizzas twice a week from two locations. Sometimes we get breadsticks, desserts or their specialty items. What a treat!
We also occasionally receive pre-made pizzas from our other retail partners as well. If we run out of these, clients can receive many of the ingredients for creating their own pizzas. We always have tomato sauce, meats, cheeses and plenty of fresh produce. We even have occasional fresh herbs from our wonderful garden!
Why not get your family together in the kitchen this month to create and enjoy a tasty meal during National Pizza Month.
