Help us Provide Holiday Meals

Believe it or not, even though it may not feel like it, the summertime is over, and the holidays are right around the corner! I think we call agree that this time of year can bring so much love and joy to everyone putting all of us in a great mood- otherwise known as “holiday spirit”. Even though there is so much to be joyful and thankful for, this time of year also adds uneasy expectations and the pressure we place on ourselves to make everything perfect. The perfect house, the perfect gift, and of course the perfect meal. One of the cornerstones to having a “successful” holiday is that flawless family meal. The dinner that finally brings everyone together so that just for a moment you can enjoy what you hold closest in your heart.

Well in all honesty, this isn’t a reality for many people, including our clients. Our goal at HCCM is to provide a holiday meal to every client family we serve in addition to their monthly order. This is a tremendous challenge considering we serve hundreds of families each month. So we need your help to provide the perfect meal to every family and here’s how……

Items Needed:

Stuffing

Instant Potatoes

Gravy

Jello

Sweet Potatoes (29 oz. can)

Corn

Pie filling

Green Beans

Cranberry Sauce

Cream Soup

Peaches (29 oz. can)

Pie Crust (rolled, refrigerated)

If your church, business or organization would like to choose 1-2 specific items to collect, that would be helpful. Please reach out to Kandy Chimento to arrange that.  [email protected].

If you can donate any items, they can be dropped off at HCCM during our business hours.  (1005 Lacy Drive, Leander.  9am – 12 pm, 1 pm – 3 pm, Monday through Friday, with extended hours on Thursdays until 7 pm).

Let’s remember our community families in need so that we bring some relief to these stressful months and hopefully add a little bit of cheer at the same time. After all this is the season of giving.
