September is Hunger Action Month, a time to raise awareness about hunger and inspire action to help end food insecurity in our communities.
Hill Country Community Ministries (HCCM) has been helping feed our neighbors since 1983. We are able to do this thanks to the generous support of local businesses, churches, schools, and individuals throughout the Austin area.
Volunteers are an important part of our mission to fight hunger in our community. There are many ways you can make a difference, whether by donating your time, lending a helping hand, or supporting our programs. Volunteers help pick up food from community partners, organize incoming donations, stock our shelves, and serve clients.
If you or someone you know needs food, clothing, or other assistance, visit our Welcome Center. We are here to help connect you with available resources. You can also visit FindHelp.org to search for additional resources in the Austin area.
This Hunger Action Month, consider how you can make a difference. Together, we can help ensure our neighbors have access to the food and resources they need.
