Good Things Are Growing at HCCM

Fresh food doesn't just come through donations at Hill Country Community Ministries (HCCM) we grow some of it ourselves!

Our community garden is filled with a variety of vegetables, including tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, leafy greens, and other seasonal produce. Throughout the growing season, dedicated volunteers help plant, maintain, and harvest the garden to ensure it continues to thrive.

What makes this garden especially meaningful is where the harvest goes. The fresh vegetables grown in our garden are placed directly into HCCM's Community Cupboard, where community members can access nutritious produce at no cost. This provides an additional source of healthy food while helping reduce food insecurity for our neighbors in need.

The garden is a wonderful example of how a small space can make a big impact. From seedlings to harvest, every vegetable grown represents the generosity, dedication, and community spirit that drives HCCM's mission.

The next time you visit HCCM, take a moment to appreciate the garden and the many volunteers who help make it possible. Together, we're growing more than vegetables we're growing hope, nourishment, and community.
