We are excited to welcome Jacob to the HCCM team as our new Assistant Food Pantry Manager. We asked Jacob to tell us a little bit about himself and answer a few questions to help everyone get to know him a little better, and here’s what he had to say:
I was born in Dallas, Texas, but grew up around the Austin area, where I developed a love for the outdoors. I'm the proud father of my 5-year-old son, Niklaus, who is one of the greatest joys in my life, and I also have two pets, a bearded dragon and a corn snake. In my free time, you'll usually find me hiking, exploring caves, relaxing by the river, or grilling with family and friends.
What is your favorite season? Fall and winter are tied as my favorite seasons because I love the spooky vibes of Halloween and the cozy atmosphere that winter brings.
What is your favorite band? My favorite band is Sleeping with Sirens.
Favorite meal? Steak is my go-to meal every time
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?: If I could have any superpower, it would be super speed so I could get everything done.
Would you rather meet your ancestors or descendants? Given the chance to travel through time, I'd rather meet my descendants to see how far my family legacy has grown.
