Our Summer Fan Program is now underway in partnership with Family Eldercare. As temperatures continue to rise across Texas, this program provides free fans to qualifying community members who may not have reliable cooling at home.
Fan distribution began May 4, giving individuals and families time to prepare before peak summer heat arrives.
This program prioritizes seniors age 55 and older, adults with disabilities, and families with children. Access to cooling is an important part of staying safe during extreme heat and can help reduce the risk of heat related illness.
If you or someone you know could benefit from a fan, please visit the pantry and connect with our team.
We are also accepting fan donations. Community members who would like to give can drop off new or gently used fans at HCCM Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm.
