About a month ago our community was hit hard. There was horrific damage done to homes, vehicles, and the terrain around it. With such terrible events taking place there was a positive response once everything settled. The people, the community responded with full force. Helping in any way needed. One of the biggest responses we got was through donations. We are so thankful to everyone who donated to help support the flood victims, through physical supplies or monetarily. Our response was so incredibly generous that we had to find an offsite location just to store everything, and now is the time I’d like to take a moment and shout out to Tim Schlung and the folks at life church. For five straight days they helped me unload and organize this storage unit. Keeping it clean, making hygiene kits, and stacking our mountain of water. So, thank you Life Church and their volunteers for embracing the challenge (and the heat) to help make this mission possible. As well as everyone who donated and helped organize group donations. We appreciate your generosity and your love for your community. There is still a lot of work to do but it’s the little things like this that end up making the biggest impact.
If you want to be in the know about what’s going on at our organization, you’ve come to the right place.
