Partner Spotlight

Collaboration with other organizations amplifies our impact on the community. By cultivating partnerships with organizations, we've significantly expanded the range of resources available to those in need. These alliances allow us to pool expertise enabling us to address complex issues more effectively than any single organization could alone.

The Christian Resource Center (CRC) plays a vital role in supporting Hill Country Community Ministries (HCCM) clients when additional assistance is needed. CRC steps in to provide essential resources such as additional food, clothing, and job training, ensuring that HCCM clients have access to comprehensive support during challenging times.

Recently, I had the pleasure of touring and speaking with Michelle Johnson, Executive Director of the Christian Resource Center (CRC) one of our fantastic partners. CRC is a faith-based organization providing a range of resources to assist individuals and families in crisis. On-Campus Ministries offers diverse programs, including Reveal Resource Center, which provides a food pantry, diaper, and clothing assistance. Fun fact: Reveal Resource Center holds the Guinness World Record for the largest diaper cake, with 50,112 diapers!

CRC also offers Christian family counseling through Biblical counseling for emotional and spiritual support. Another impactful program, River City Hope Street, offers job readiness programs, GED, ESL, computer skills, and pre-apprenticeship training in plumbing and electrical fields, promoting long-term self-sufficiency. Agape Women’s Center provides pregnancy crisis support and lifestyle skills. Jail to Jobs, another resource, helps juvenile offenders with mentoring, job training, and placement.

CRC's Off-Campus Ministries include Faith Home Restoration, offering transitional housing for women needing a fresh start. Through partnerships with churches and other organizations, CRC fosters holistic, compassionate care, ensuring stability and wellness.

CRC emphasizes community collaboration, working with businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies to offer well-rounded assistance that addresses both immediate and long-term goals. Their educational programs, focusing on financial literacy and life skills, empower individuals to build resilience and navigate life’s challenges.

HCCM has many partners that help our clients become self -reliant when the need arises. We are so happy to have all our partners. By blending together, we can support our clients with emotional and spiritual care.
